WHAT IS YOUTH ATHLETE TRAINING?

Our Youth Athlete Training Programme is a professionally designed system for young athletes (typically ages 10–14).

It focuses on fundamental movement skills, strength foundations, coordination, speed, agility, and confidence-building — all delivered in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.

Every young athlete trains under the guidance of qualified Strength & Conditioning coaches with expertise in sport science, biomechanics, and injury-aware training. This programme is the first step in building lifelong athleticism.

Who Is It For?

• Preparing for GAA, Rugby, Soccer, or other sports
• Improving overall strength and fitness
• Recovering safely from minor injuries
• Building confidence in PE and sports participation

Our Curriculum

WHAT THEY WILL LEARN

Our comprehensive 4-Pillar Model ensures complete athletic development.

Early start 7+yrs

Info for Early start ( Tuesday and Thursday 4pm)

This Phase looks to build agilty, balance and coordination in our young athletes as well a broad rang of other fundamental movement skills through the use of games and child centred learning.
This phase aims to provide a positive environment for kids to explore different movement patterns.

Move well 11+yrs

Move well Tuesday and Thursday 5pm

In this phase we aim to introduce formal resistance training with a strong emphasis on efficient form and technique with the use of light loads and implements. The development of good motor patterns through age appropriate training and science supported methods will maximise their movement potential.

Development phase 14+ yrs

Here the aim is to further build from the previous phase developing strength and improving performance. Speed and agility mechanics are further honed to educate the athlete in effective movement efficiency .

SAFETY & COACHING STANDARDS
